The despicable “climate czar” John Kerry is using the horrific Ukraine crisis to publicly promote his agenda. In the most tone-deaf and reprehensible manner, Kerry said if you think a refugee crisis is bad, wait until the war affects the climate.

Kerry said Wednesday addressing the UN Security Council on Climate Finance for Sustaining Peace, the “instability, conflict, death [and] destruction” in Ukraine is happening in the context of “a global existential crisis.” He said, “we are actually living through the consequences of that crisis.”

At an energy conference in Houston on Monday, Kerry stated “if you think migration has been a problem in Europe from the Syrian war – or even from what we see now [in Ukraine] – wait until you see 100 million people for whom the entire food production capacity has collapsed.”

How he thinks that watching over 2 million Ukrainians flee from their homeland while Putin commits war crimes bombing civilian targets such as hospitals is anyone’s guess.

Just before Russia invaded Ukraine, Kerry threw a temper tantrum that the world was focusing on Russia, and not his precious climate agenda. Kerry worried the war would mean losing “big country attention” on the climate crisis and that he hoped Putin would share his concerns about the thawing Siberian tundra.

In an interview with the BBC, Kerry continued to display how out of touch he is. Though he is concerned about “the people of Ukraine” he added the war “could have a profound negative impact on the climate, obviously.”

“You have a war and obviously you’re going to have massive emissions consequences to the war” added Kerry.
