Political commentator Kay Smythe sat down with Joe Pags this week to discuss the death of Queen Elizabeth II, explaining the importance of her incredible 70 years in power.

“It’s an emotional day for any British person,” said Smythe. “I didn’t think it would be as emotional as it has been.”

“When I woke up and saw that she had been placed on bed rest. Then I saw that everyone at the BBC had been asked to wear black, I knew that they knew.”

“Honestly, there’s not a single bad thing I could say,” added Smythe.
