Newsmax CEO Chris Ruddy stopped by the Joe Pags Show this week to discuss DIRECTV’s decision to drop his channel from its lineup.
“We love the network; we were on the network. I think Newsmax is groundbreaking. I was confused when I heard DIRECTV was dropping the channel. How did this go down?” asked Pagliarulo.
“We’ve become the fourth highest rated news channel in the United States,” explains Ruddy. “We have a big audience. I was shocked they took us off. They set is up in a position that they would deplatform us.”
“They have 22 liberal news channels. Most have lower ratings than Newsmax,” he added.
