Senator Rand Paul spoke with Joe ‘Pags’ Pagliarulo Thursday about a series of issues facing the nation, including the debt ceiling, Joe Biden, and the War in Ukraine.
“We’ve heard this argument about the debt ceiling before. Why do we keep raising it?” asked Pags.
“It could be useful if we actually used it to reform our spending,” explained Paul. “It’s irresponsible NOT to attach spending reforms. It’s outrageous what we’ve done to our country.”
“We’ve added more debt in the last three years than any time in our history. We have serious problems. There are ramifications if a country spends more money than comes in,” he added.
“There will be a negotiation,” concluded Paul.
