Donald Trump was found “liable for abuse and defamation” by a jury in New York City Tuesday after being accused of “rape” by E. Jean Carroll. He was ordered to pay $5 million in damages.

“I HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA WHO THIS WOMAN IS. THIS VERDICT IS A DISGRACE – A CONTINUATION OF THE GREATEST WITCH HUNT OF ALL TIME!” posted Trump on social media just minutes after the verdict.

Carroll, who is 79 years old, claims the former President physically assaulted her at a luxury Manhattan Department Store nearly 30 years ago.

This is a developing story.
