President Joe Biden has two major decisions to make regarding the war between Israel and Hamas.  Does he side with the far left side of his supporters whom are echoing major antisemitic tropes whom he still needs to vote for him in the upcoming election or side with our critical Middle Eastern ally, Israel,  who needs Biden to show an uncompromising show of support for them.

Biden finds himself in a very tough position especially since Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has asked him to make a “solidarity” visit to Israel to demonstrate America’s commitment and allegiance with Israel.

According to the Times of Israel, “Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu invited US President Joe Biden to Israel on a solidarity visit amid the ongoing Israel-Hamas war, a Netanyahu aide told The Times of Israel Sunday.”

Currently, the Biden administration is not commenting on whether or not a presidential trip to Israel will occur and has only given the response, “We have no new travel to announce,” according to the White House National Security Council spokesperson Adrienne Watson.

With massive anti-Israel protests occurring in New York City and on college campuses throughout the country, many outspoken Democrats have come out against Israel’s attack on Palestine claiming it is attempt to wipe out all Palestinians and have suggested Israel’s Prime Minister Netanyahu is responsible for numerous human rights violations.

Democrats like Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) went as far as claiming the response from the Israeli government is wrong and accused them of “ethnic cleansing.”

So far Biden has been in contact with Netanyahu and formally condemned the horrific Hamas terrorist attack on Israel.

Biden recently tweeted, “This weekend, I connected again with Prime Minister Netanyahu to reiterate unwavering U.S. support for Israel, and to provide an update on our military support and efforts to protect civilians. It’s time all countries unequivocally condemned Hamas as a terrorist organization that does not represent the aspirations of the Palestinian people.”

“We must not lose sight of the fact that the overwhelming majority of Palestinians had nothing to do with Hamas’s appalling attacks, and are suffering as a result of them,” Biden also tweeted, walking a very fine line with his far left Democratic base.
