In a recent interview with Fox News, Jared Kushner called out the ridiculous irony that Jews feel less safe on college campuses throughout America than living in Saudi Arabia.

Former President Donald Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner is jewish as is his wife Ivanka Trump and during an interview with Fox news he described the controversy on college campuses throughout America. Kushner described a recent trip to Saudi Arabia where they “allowed me to speak freely” at a large conference as a speaker.

“It was a very interesting time to be over there,” he said during an interview with Fox News’ “Sunday Morning Futures.”

“One of the ironies is that as an American Jew, you’re safer in Saudi Arabia right now than you are on a college campus like Columbia University.” he said.

Kushner described the tone of Saudi Arabia’s citizens and leadership as “disgust” over the massive terror attacks in Israel by Hamas. “What I sensed there was there’s obviously a big disgust with what happened”and also claimed the Saudi Arabians “have a lot of care for Palestinian civilians. They’d like to see Israel accomplish the mission to make sure that the Hamas could be eliminated. They’re against terrorism in the region in general.”

“They’re against terrorism in the region in general. And, quite frankly, there’s a lot of enthusiasm to continue the trajectory that was set under the Trump administration — and that the Biden administration has embraced — to try and bring Israel and Saudi Arabia together,” he continued.

Kushner was vital in facilitating the ground breaking 2020 Abraham Accords which aimed to normalize relations between Israel and many Middle Eastern countries such as the UAE, Bahrain, Morocco and Sudan.  Kushner also believes that Saudi Arabia wants to enter the agreement.

“I believe they would like to move forward with the deal with America and with Israel,” Kushner said. “The deal that’s being discussed isn’t just a partnership with Israel. It’s also deepening their ties with America, which is very important. We have to keep in mind that, if America is not close to Saudi Arabia, then they will go in the other direction to China. And so I think that the topic is being discussed.”
