“Clearly, Under President Trump, Russia was not going to invade Ukraine. They saw an opportunity after our withdrawal from Afghanistan. They concluded that Biden would do nothing,” explained Addicott.
“His knockout blow didn’t work out. So, they retreated and that’s where they’ve been ever since,” he added. “We’re not driving the Russians out. This is a home game for them.”
“More money isn’t going to make a difference because they’re running out of people. The Ukrainian military is on their last legs. Now is the time to make a peace deal before we’re in a position where it’s too late,” concluded Addicott.
