Grover Norquist is the President of Americans for Tax Reform. He breaks down President Trump’s plan to eliminate taxes on tips.
“Trump is saying he doesn’t want the IRS to tax tips at all. Can he do it?” asked Joe Pags.
“It’s a great idea,” explained Norquist. “There are millions of people who work in hospitality: waiters, taxi drivers, barbers, and so on. But there are tens of millions who have done it at some point in their life.”
“It really reminds people of what the nature of taxation is. It’s the government taking the money that rightfully belongs to you.”
