“There’s as long history of communism in North Korea that goes back to the Soviet era,” explained Coates. “What we’re seeing now with Putin’s visit is that this is clearly being endorsed by China.”
“China clearly wants them to work together,” she added. “Putin is the one who’s engaging. There’s no dialogue between North Korea and the Biden administration. Kim is a menace because he has nuclear weapons.”
“He doesn’t care about his people. That’s the last thing on his list. The North Korean people are so brainwashed they think the nuclear weapons give them power. They think it’s worth it,” she concluded.
