Now that Trump has secured a second term as president, the main stream media may face “another round of layoffs” for the “on-air talent” as their ratings plummet to all time lows.
The American people have had enough of the main stream media’s fear-mongering which not only didn’t prevent a Trump presidency, but rather upset Americans driving them to the polls. CNN is now on their third CEO in just a few years, ratings at all time lows and trust in their “journalists” has American’s tuning out. They now face having to cut “hundreds of employees” in an attempt to refocus priorities and leadership.
“In the next few months, I’m told, CNN will implement another round of layoffs that will impact hundreds of employees across the organization,” said Dylan Byers of Puck News. The “on-air talent” may be “asked to assume more of the responsibilities once handled by teams of producers and production assistants.”
Byers noted that the CEO would eliminate “redundant assignments and various divisions will be reduced. Some of the on-air talent are also likely to be affected.”
In just a single year, ratings have dropped by 40 percent under current CEO Thompson vs. that of former CNN CEO Chis Licht who oversaw the colossal failure of CNN+ and continued rating flops.
