The Old State Saloon in Eagle, Idaho, has announced a promotion granting free beer for one month to anyone who assists Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in identifying and facilitating the deportation of illegal immigrants, Fox News reports. The saloon’s social media post on X added that they may even offer multiple months of free beer for those who help deport multiple individuals.

According to Fox News, “The Old State Saloon alerted its followers Saturday, writing on X that ‘anyone who helps ICE identify and ultimately deport an illegal from Idaho gets FREE BEER FOR ONE MONTH’ at its establishment.”

The promotion quickly went viral, drawing attention from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), which shared the announcement with surprise. The saloon enthusiastically responded, encouraging further deportations. Some patrons suggested keeping a leaderboard to crown a “Deporter of the Year” with even greater beer rewards.

The initiative aligns with the wishes of many Americans who want their nation governed by the rule of law and protected from the dangers posed by criminal illegal immigrants who are now being removed by ICE.

One person already approved for the free beer is Ryan Spoon, vice chair of the Ada County Republican Central Committee, after providing proof of aiding ICE in an arrest. Conservative Gen Z influencer Bo Loudon praised the initiative on social media, calling it an “incredible idea.”

While supporters applaud the bar’s stance, it has also sparked backlash with calls for boycotts and negative reviews from those opposing the promotion. The saloon’s social media bio boldly states that “liberals around the world hate us” and highlights its previous campaigns like the “Heterosexual Awesomeness Month” in June 2024, which offered discounts and freebies to heterosexual patrons as a response to Pride Month. The bar also markets merchandise bearing slogans such as “Make America Straight Again.”
