The Biden campaign and his few allies have recently announced a major haul in campaign donations but it doesn't compare to former President Trump's campaign coffers and enthusiasm behind him.
In the last three months of the 2023, the Biden campaign raised $97 million with $117 million in the bank at the end of the year. When compared to the Trump campaign from 2020, they had raised $157 million in donations in those months totaling $195 million in the bank according to the New York Times.
According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics' Consumer Price Index Calculator, when you consider the major shock inflation has had on the dollar, the disparity between the campaigns donations heighten with the dollar worth almost 20% less now than in January of 2020.
