Republican Congressman Andy Biggs stopped-by The Joe Pags Show Thursday to weigh-in on the latest aid package to Ukraine and upcoming midterm elections, saying the Democratic Party has absolutely nothing to campaign on.
“The other side is totally illogical… They want to send $8 billion to non-governmental organizations in Ukraine. It doesn’t say anything about how they’re going to be accountable. We’re using our weapons stockpile. Now we have to build new missiles for our own military,” said Biggs.
“We have big problems in this country. This administration doesn’t put any money down on the border to assist with this crisis. We have high crime rates, we have baby formula shortages. We’re going to send a bunch of money over there?” he asked.
‘How does any of this make any sense??” concluded the Congressman.
Watch Biggs’ comments above.
Biden got a $1 trillion infrastructure bill passed, which includes funding for: building and repairing bridges and roads; passenger and freight rail; airport runways, gates and terminals; school buses; modernizing ports and airports; updating power grids; etc., etc. There are a lot of republicans that voted against that bill who will tout the benefits to their constituents anyway LOL. The handling of the Ukraine-Russia conflict has been ok, I guess… at least we haven’t escalated anything. Biden got us out of Afghanistan, per trump’s plan, so I guess that was ok, if a little bungled. I am certainly glad when we get out of any foreign occupation. Until recently, the stock market was doing well; my portfolio is up since biden took office. There has been no progress on healthcare reform, unfortunately.
I’m curious what the republican platform is these days. Culture war stuff? Lies about a stolen election? Cutting taxes for rich folks and corporations? Biden is milquetoast at best. He and harris were NOT on the top of my list to lead the country. But at this point, they are still better than the alternatives on the other side of the aisle.
Have a great day!
I know this is not related to this. Question? Is the leak from the Supreme Court from the prospective new justice which probably has been given heads up on the cases?
