A troubled anti-ICE activist at a Minnesota dog kennel triggered attention after scribbling an anti-immigration enforcement message on the feeding chart for a Customs and Border Protection (CBP) K-9, the New York Post reports. The incident drew a sharp reaction from the Department of Homeland Security, which shared a post noting that the worker had written “ICE OUT” at the top of an official feeding chart in a childlike handwriting.
“THEY’RE EVEN GOING AFTER THE DOGS!” the DHS wrote in a post on X.
THEY’RE EVEN GOING AFTER THE DOGS!
In Minneapolis, anti-ICE agitators are targeting our @CBP K-9s, including K-9 Dina, pictured here. At the kennel where K-9 Dina was staying, it was discovered that an employee had written "ICE OUT" on her feed chart. pic.twitter.com/FYseJqx68C

“In Minneapolis, anti-ICE agitators are targeting our CBP K-9s, including K-9 Dina, pictured here,” the agency continued, sharing a photo of the German Shepherd as well. The kennel’s name was not disclosed, but comments on the DHS post criticized the act as childish and inappropriate. One commenter urged naming the kennel so it could face consequences, while another described the act as “unhinged.” A third dog enthusiast suggested that K-9s ought to be afforded protected status.
