Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier joined Joe Pags for a no-holds-barred conversation on some of the most pressing issues facing the Sunshine State—and the country. From rogue judges to radical climate experiments, Uthmeier laid it all out.
“It’s a fight every day,” he admitted, explaining that the battle to defend conservative values has only intensified. But Uthmeier said Florida, under Governor DeSantis and President Trump’s leadership, has become a blueprint for restoring law, order, and common sense. “People are waking up to common sense,” he told Pags, reflecting on how more Americans are rejecting progressive overreach.
One of the biggest surprises came when Uthmeier revealed that despite Florida passing laws to ban sanctuary cities, the Fort Myers city council supported sanctuary-style policies. He emphasized that the state stands with ICE and vowed to ensure local governments follow the law. “We’ll do our best to hold other states accountable too,” he said, explaining how Florida will continue to lead the way on border enforcement and public safety.
On deportations and the failure of federal leadership, Uthmeier didn’t mince words. “President Trump didn’t need new laws,” he said, criticizing Biden’s border policies as “treasonous behavior.” He called Judge Boasberg’s decision blocking gang member deportations “pretty ridiculous,” blasting it as a political move to undermine Trump. “That legal paper would be better served as toilet paper,” he quipped, warning that unelected judges are playing politics from the bench.
Uthmeier also sounded the alarm on the Tren de Aragua (TDA) gang—a violent transnational criminal organization—and slammed the judiciary’s role in slowing deportations. “It’s hard to rationalize,” he said, referring to those calling to bring gang members back into the country. “It’s a fight of good and evil.”
The conversation turned even more intense when the topic shifted to weather modification. “What may have started as this grand conspiracy theory, the left actually finds a way to turn into something that’s true,” Uthmeier revealed. He said he was initially skeptical, but after digging into the facts, he discovered that the Biden administration appropriated “significant funds” toward atmospheric experimentation. “This is fact, it is not fiction,” he warned, calling for transparency and legislation to block such practices in Florida.
Uthmeier also condemned the rise of left-wing violence and intimidation, including swatting attacks and targeted vandalism against conservatives. “How do you defend this behavior?” he asked, calling out Democrat AGs for staying silent.
