Rudy Giuliani is making headlines upsetting liberals once again, but in an unexpected way. Fox’s “The Masked Singer” has not aired its newest season yet, but the former New York City Mayor caused an uproar during filming.
While taping the very first episode, Giuliani’s presence was so upsetting to liberal judges Ken Jeong and Robin Thicke, they stormed off stage in protest. Giuliani was one of the first contestants to be revealed in the Season 7 premiere episode.
Deadline reported the story, although would not reveal what costume Giuliani was wearing, so as not to give too much away before the episode airs next month. The theme for Season 7 is “The Good, The Bad and The Cuddly.”
Deadline “hears that while Jeong and Thicke exited (they eventually returned), fellow judges Jenny McCarthy and Nicole Scherzinger remained onstage. They bantered with Giuliani.”
Deadline writes “the reaction to Giuliani was perhaps the most polarizing the show has seen since 2020. The Masked Singer faced criticism then when another controversial Republican politician, Sarah Palin, was unveiled as The Bear.”
When Palin revealed herself, host Nick Cannon said it was “the most shocked I’ve ever been on this show.”
