Former US Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley officially entered the 2024 race for the White House Tuesday; announcing her bid for the Republican nomination on social media.

“I’m Nikki Haley, and I’m running for president,” she states in her campaign video. “The railroad tracks divided the town by race,” she adds, referring to her town in South Carolina. “I was the proud daughter of Indian immigrants. Not Black, not White, I was different.”

 

“We need to strengthen our country and our purpose,” she added.
