House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) has ignited a firestorm by vowing to expose the identities of ICE agents—agents already battling a surge in assaults and facing escalating death threats. While ICE agents work undercover to remove criminal illegal aliens, Jeffries has chosen to put a political target on their backs.
“Every single ICE agent who’s engaged in this aggressive overreach, and are trying to hide their identities from the American people, will be unsuccessful in doing that,” Jeffries said. “This is America. This is not the Soviet Union. We’re not behind the Iron Curtain. This is not the 1930s… every single one of them… will, of course, be identified.”
The irony? These same agents wear masks to protect themselves and their families from being doxxed and attacked. Acting ICE Director Todd Lyons laid it out plainly: “People are out there taking photos of the names, their faces, and posting them online with death threats to their family and themselves.”
But that doesn’t seem to matter to Jeffries, whose party spent years defending masked Antifa thugs while ICE officers now get mocked, threatened, and physically attacked for doing their jobs.
Crowds in Minneapolis recently attempted to block federal operations, forcing local police and sheriffs to step in for crowd control. All while Democrats like Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz liken ICE to “Trump’s modern Gestapo.”
Former ICE Director Tom Homan warned, “It’s only a matter of time before there’s an incident where an ICE agent is going to have to take a life or going to lose a life.”
The message from Democrats is clear: If you enforce immigration law, you’re the enemy. And if you dare try to keep your identity safe from violent mobs? You’ll be hunted down
