A pink-haired student at the University of Arizona confronted Turning Point USA activists at their campus table, calling them “Nazis” and warning them to “watch your neck”—a direct reference to the assassination of Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk, Breitbart reports. When the student asked the activists to relocate so they could avoid each other, a supporter responded politely. The student then repeated a hostile warning reminiscent of Kirk’s murder before walking away.

According to Breitbart, the individual stated while approaching the Turning Point USA display table,“Hey, Nazis, can you set up somewhere where I can avoid you easily?” to which a Charlie Kirk supporter replied, “Yeah, thank you, have a great day.”

“F*** you, Nazi. Watch your neck,” the pink-haired student responded before walking away.

This incident starkly contrasts the student’s claimed moral stance with the issuing of what appears to be a death threat based on political differences. The university’s Office of Public Safety and Dean of Students have reportedly engaged with the conservative students involved and are investigating the situation, emphasizing that the university does not tolerate threatening or harassing behavior.

Andrew Kolvet, Turning Point USA’s spokesman, commented that conservatives have long been labeled with extreme epithets, contributing to some being driven to violent conclusions. Kolvet reacted to the incident at University of Arizona in a Wednesday X post, writing, “Conservatives have been called Nazis, fascists, bigots, racists, and every other name in the leftist grab-bag of pejoratives for so long, that we should not be surprised when some of them conclude they need to kill us.”

Charlie Kirk, an advocate for free speech on college campuses and non-violent activism, was tragically assassinated on September 10 at Utah Valley University while having a civil campus discussion. His death sparked widespread grief and highlighted disturbing reactions on the left that celebrated or justified the assassination due to ideological differences.

This incident illustrates ongoing tensions and the challenges of political discourse on college campuses today. The University of Arizona is reportedly continuing its investigation into the incident with Turning Point USA.
