New arrivals of illegal immigrants were shocked at how easy it was to enter the United States through the southern border under the Biden administration’s open door immigration policies.

At the southern Arizona border, thousand of illegal migrants have entered the United States completely unchecked or unmolested because massive sections of the border are open during monsoon season and for endangered antelope species to migrate.

Video obtained by the New York Post shows many illegal migrants easily strolling into the country which the Post called “the busiest point of illegal entry into the country.”

“We thought the agents were going to tell us something,” an Ecuadorian migrant said. “But we just walked in.”

According to an illegal migrant from Cuba, “It was so easy to get into the US. Nothing like our journey through Mexico. That part was hard. I thought there was going to be more security.”

The New York Post recently reported “US officials have inexplicably welded open 114 massive gates along the Arizona border to allow water to flow freely during the annual monsoon season and for the migration of an endangered species of antelope, officials said. Each of the 114 gates in Arizona, which have been open for nearly two months, has 12-foot doors wide enough for a motorcycle to drive through. Smugglers drive busloads of migrants to the Mexican side of the border, where they get off and simply walk into the US.”

Sources from the Border Patrol have said,“The call to open the floodgates came from multiple federal government agencies, including the National Park Service.” These gates have been open for weeks “allowing migrants a dry path into the US.”

According to an unnamed source interviewed by the Post, “We tried to shut the gates but the order came down that we had to leave them open. You wouldn’t leave the front door of your house open in a bad neighborhood.”

In response to the criticism, U.S. Customs and Border Protection released a statement emphasizing, “The individuals had already crossed the border from Mexico, are on U.S. soil, and are subject to U.S. immigration laws. Individuals who cross unlawfully will be subject to the lawful pathways rule, which places common-sense conditions on asylum eligibility, with certain exceptions. Those who do not establish a legal basis to remain in the United States will be removed.”

The reports of the floodgates literally being opened came at the same time the Biden administration has been accused of quietly selling off unused border wall pieces bought and paid for under the Trump administration.

Senator Tom Cotton (R-Ark.) responded “Leaving the border open to terrorists while selling border security materials at a loss is Bidenomics in a nutshell.”
