Big Apple Mayor Eric Adams confused millions of residents across the five boroughs this week when he vowed to deploy “mental health professionals” to deal with crazed passengers in the city’s subway system.

“Immediately, when you see a dangerous person there, mental health professionals will be deployed and that person will receive the proper care and be removed from our subway system,” said Adams.

A rash of violent incidents in recent days has left the city of nearly 9 million residents on edge; including the murder of a young woman in New York’s crowded Times Square subway station after she was abruptly shoved into an oncoming train.
