Many Americans have been concerned about President Joe Biden's ability to perform the duties of his office with the 80-year-old showing various signs of cognitive decline and often disconnected from reality. A disturbing example of this decline was on full display during a recent press conference where he planned to address the mass shooting that occurred at a Nashville charter school, leaving six people dead including three children.  Before making comments on the mass shooting, Biden showed a complete disconnection from reality, taking what should be an extremely serious moment and rather starting his comments joking about ice cream. The perpetrator of the mass shooting in Nashville was a transgender individual seemingly motivated by an anti-Christian hatred and radicalized over a far left gender ideology.  The President began his comments in a oddly jovial way during the SBA Women's Business Summit in the East Room of the White House only moments after the news broke of a deadly school shooting. He addressed the group beginning with, “My name is Joe Biden. I’m Dr. Jill Biden’s husband. And I eat Jeni’s Ice Cream, chocolate chip. I came down because I heard there was chocolate chip ice cream. By the way, I have a whole refrigerator full upstairs. You think I’m kidding, I’m not." He also commented on numerous children in the room, bizarrely asking them to stand and be recognized while going off on a tangent about how he has brothers and sisters, and recalled how is sister was "smarter than all of us." “She used to be three years younger than me; now she’s 23 years younger than me,” he said trying to engage the group. After these comments he then began to address the Nashville school shooting, pushing for control and stating the need for an assault weapons ban because the shooter was armed with an AK-47, which was incorrect. “We’re monitoring the situation really closely," he said. "And we have to do more to stop gun violence. It’s ripping our communities apart, ripping the soul of this nation — ripping at the very soul of the nation. And we have to do more to protect our schools so they aren’t turned into prisons.” “You know, the shooter in this situation reportedly had two assault weapons and a pistol — two AK-47. So I call on Congress, again, to pass my assault weapons ban. It’s about time that we begin to make some more progress,” Biden said. The shooter was actually armed with two AR-15s and a 9mm handgun. Biden's address to the group went viral and social media immediately erupted with comments which all echoed Biden's cognitive decline and disconnect from reality.
