The liberal women of ABC’s “The View” failed to make President Donald Trump look bad, despite their best efforts to fabricate the truth. During a segment about immigration and deportations occurring under Trump after he declared the border crisis a national emergency, Whoopi Goldberg begged the question, “Is this the immigration fix people had in mind when they voted” for Trump? “Well it’s hard to tell at this table since no one voted for him” co-host Sara Haines said as the women chuckled. She then went on to drop a little truth bomb for America and the Hollywood liberals in her presence: “I don’t know yet” she began in response to Goldberg’s question. “It’s disturbing what we’re seeing and the headlines and all the coverage would make you think that there’s this massive deportation.” “But by numbers, it contextually, president Obama still remains the ‘deporter-in-chief’. Even if Trump continues at this rate he will not even hit what President Obama hit in one year with 400 thousand” deportations. “The point here is that it’s meant to be a PR campaign. It’s meant to scare people, that’s what they’re doing right now and when you look at these flights where they are deporting people back to their origin nation, we don’t know who they are and that’s where I would like to see more transparency.” Haines concluded, “If in deed right now everyone on these flights is a violent criminal, I think we can all agree everyone thinks they should leave the country.” Fox News published the soundbite from abc with a place card after Haines’ comments with the following statistic: “this past weekend, ICE said it and its partners rounded up more than 1,200 illegal immigrants who had been charged or convicted of committing crimes in the U.S.” Nonetheless, the ladies of The View and celebrities like Selena Gomez refuse to let facts get in their way of shedding tears on behalf of violent criminals.
