An array of news outlets has referenced the new ban on handguns imposed by Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. Trudeau, announced that he would be implementing gun control laws totally freezing the import and sale of this class of firearm.

Unsurprisingly, the ban has initiated a dramatic surge in handgun purchases, as affirmed by the linked article on Breitbart titled Gun Control Misfire: Trudeau Pistol Ban Sees Stores Sell Out of Handguns. “Gun stores in Canada have seen handguns fly off the shelves, with many selling out altogether after Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced gun control legislation freezing all pistol purchases.” The article asserts that Trudeau’s ban “appears to be a seismic political misfire,” because the ban motivated Canadians to buy more gun. Now, handgun purchases are “onerously difficult.”

“We sold 100 handguns, or almost our entire stock, in the last three days, since the Prime Minister announced the freeze,” said the co-owner of That Hunting Store, Jen Lavigne, before emphasizing that the ban would only “hurt legal gun owners.””

The concept of the legal gun owner is particularly relevant to the most impacting statement made by Trudeau, which illuminates the values inherent in Trudeau’s ideology and, more menacingly, the lethal price Trudeau is cavalierly willing to inflict on Canadians.

Trudeau has unambiguously informed Canadians they have no right to self-defense with a gun. Trudeau stated this week that “guns are for hunting and target practice, but never for self-defense.” Marinate your thoughts on Trudeau’s values and his grotesque indifference to foreseeable consequences. A Canadian can use a firearm to punch holes in paper or harvest a deer, but the person cannot protect her or his own life.

Taking a cheap swipe at the United States while referring to his sweeping measure to freeze the sale, purchase, or transfer of handguns in Canada, Trudeau told the Pod Save America podcast that “his country takes a completely different view of firearms than its southern neighbor.” No one in Canada has a right to defend themselves, their family or their property with a firearm, Trudeau declared, Daily Wire reports.

“You can’t use a gun for self-protection in Canada. It’s not a right that you have,” said Trudeau. Trudeau’s values are as glaring as landing lights on a jet aircraft: he willingly accepts more dead and wounded Canadians as the price of his fetish with the number of handguns in Canada. Not to belabor the obvious, but the article made this trenchant point: “Criminals could potentially harm you and your family with ILLEGAL guns, but YOU, law-abiding citizen, do not have the right to defend yourself with a LEGAL gun.”

The following statement  by Klaus Schwab of the World Economic Forum—you know, the forum attended by billionaires who fly to Davos in multi-million dollar private jets and then arrogantly condemn the rest of us about our carbon footprints—will give the prescient reader a lucid insight into Trudeau’s overarching ideology: “Klaus Schwab of the World Economic Forum basically said Canada is the test case for his Great Reset.” The Great Reset is code phrase for the subversion of national sovereignty and the extinguishing of democratic social structures.
