Political commentator Kay Smythe dropped by the Joe Pags Show this week to discuss why American liberals are terrified of people like her.
“The people on Martha’s Vineyard tolerated these migrants for less than 44 hours,” began Pagliarulo.
“Yesterday we were covering the migrant crisis, we were talking about Martha’s Vineyard… People just can’t handle it,” explained Smythe.
“My generation is so hyperaware of these so-called traumas, that now when we’re presented with an opportunity to act, we go straight to violence. I really am disgusted by anyone who chooses violence,” she added.

Conservative, right-wing ideology supports in-groups and out-groups, and tends toward extremism and violence. This is not a new phenomenon. It is a result of resistance to change, fear of losing their perceived superiority over others, and a general feeling of existential dread (the myth of replacement theory). Conservatives generally feel that giving the same rights to others (the out-groups, ie. gay, trans, black, muslim, etc) lessens their own rights. This is simply not true, as treating all people equally was written into the declaration of independence and is a major plank of american freedom.

“According to a report which was published by the Center for Strategic and International Studies, as of 2020, right-wing terrorism accounted for the majority of terrorist attacks and plots in the United States. As of May 2022, the New America Foundation placed the number killed in terrorist attacks in the United States since 9/11 as follows: 122 killed in far-right attacks, 107 killed in jihadist attacks, 17 killed in “ideological misogyny/incel” attacks, 12 killed in black separatist/nationalist/supremacist attacks, and 1 killed in a far-left attack.”
This is why some lefties are scared of conservatives. Groups like the proud boys, the many white nationalist groups (KKK, aryan brotherhood, stromfront, etc), the oathkeepers, and too many other to list are violent, extremist organizations. And when the president tells some of these people to “stand by”, that’s a bridge too far.
It’s a good thing the 2nd amendment applies to everyone 🙂
