Doctor Anthony Fauci appeared on Capitol Hill Wednesday to answer questions over the Biden administration’s response to the global COVID-19 pandemic; saying he is unsure when the “emergency” surrounding the virus will ever end.
Fauci can’t give an answer for when the Covid “emergency” will ever end:

“When will we no longer call the current covid public health emergency a pandemic? Are there criteria? Benchmarks? What kind of process will we go through?” asked one legislator.
“There is no firm widely available definition. We’re talking about a highly transmissible infection that’s widely distributed throughout the globe,” explained Dr. Fauci.
“I don’t think you’re going to see all of a sudden one day there is going to be declaration that the pandemic is over,” he added. “When you get to a level where it’s not disrupting society… It wouldn’t be considered a pandemic in the classic sense.”
