12-time All American Swimmer Riley Gaines spoke with Joe Pags Wednesday to discuss the ongoing national controversy surrounding biological men competing in women’s sports.
“You’re fighting for women’s sports. You went to San Francisco State University. That’s very courageous. Were you thinking this could get violent?” asked Pagliarulo.
“I like to put myself in adverse situations,” explained Gaines. “It’s great to go on Fox News. But I want to reach the people who don’t agree with me.”
“But I don’t agree with violence. Which is exactly what I was met with. I didn’t expect to fear for my life like I did,” she added.
