According to a new poll released from the Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research, American’s strongly disapprove of Biden’s handling of the border confirming just what a disaster his policies have been.
The poll showed just 31% of Americans approve of Biden’s handling of the immigration crisis which was conducted between May 11-15th. Under the Biden administration, we have seen record numbers of illegal immigration causing chaos in border cities throughout America. The U.S. Border Patrol has recorded a shocking 2.3 million migrant encounters in fiscal year 2022 and so far in 2023, they have encountered a staggering 1.4 million migrants already.
The open border polices of the Biden administration have easily allowed for illegal immigrants, narcotics and now confirmed 98 people who were on the terror watchlist to enter the country. The 98 migrants that entered illegally were arrested for suspected terrorism and that is just the number of those who got apprehended, not including the potential terrorists that have entered the country undetected.
After the Trump-era Title 42 was ended by President Biden, we saw an approximate 10,000 migrant encounters per day surge leading up to when the poll was conducted on May 11th.
President Biden has admitted that the end of Title 42 would be a struggle, but the American people strongly disagree with his handling of the crisis and the lack of planning. In response to the massive influx of migrants, the Biden administration announced a plan where migrants can legally enter the country in new various ways while also trying to increase the punishment for those who decide to enter illegally.
On May 10th, President Biden was on the record saying there’s been “chaos” at the southern border “for years” trying to pass the blame on someone else.
