Former President Donald Trump praised his 2024 challenger on Truth Social Monday, saying Senator Tim Scott is a “big step up from Ron DeSantis.”
Scott confirmed his 2024 run for the White House earlier in the day. DeSantis is expected to announce his candidacy sometime this week.
