“Not everybody is the same. Not everybody is waiting for a warm bowl of soup and a pat on the back, that was Obama’s policy with Iran,” explained Friedman. “That’s not the way it works in the Middle East.”
“I wish it were different. Israel is an oasis encircled by enemies. You have to defeat this kind of ideology, you cannot negotiate. How do you negotiate with a group who orders the rape, murder, and beheadings of innocent people?” he asked.
