President Joe Biden’s time in office is about to run out and the Democrat’s continue to push a Christmas wish list of radical left agenda items they want enacted before history judge’s his presidency.
Biden will leave office as possibly one of the most unpopular president’s in history, being forced out of an election and his party losing the election in a landslide to the Republicans. The American voices were loud and clear and the last thing they want is radical left policies rammed through acting as booby traps for the incoming President-elect Donald Trump.
The radical agenda items include protecting criminal illegal migrants from being deported, ending nationwide mass incarcerations, forgiving student loan debt and trying to preemptively pardon political allies before Trump is sworn in again.
The Democrats in Congress including Sen. Ed Markey (D-MA) and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), recently sent a letter to Biden urging him to “cement his climate legacy” by “continuing to deliver the benefits” from the 2022 Inflation Reduction Act, otherwise known has the Green New Deal in disguise.
“As we prepare for the challenges ahead, we urge you to cement this climate legacy by continuing to deliver the benefits of the landmark Inflation Reduction Act and Bipartisan Infrastructure Law to working-class people, pushing back against unnecessary and costly fossil fuel projects, and ensuring key guidance and other regulatory documents are in place to limit uncertainty for workers, businesses, households, and communities. After all, the threat of climate change will outlive any electoral cycle,” Markey and many others Democrats from Congress said.
On Trump’s first day in office, he has pledged to begin the largest deportation operation in history in an attempt to end the immigration crisis on the border and throughout all major cities in the country. Send. Catherine Cortez Masto (D-NV), Alex Padilla (D-CA), and Ben Ray Lujan (D-NM) wrote in the letter to Biden encouraging him to protect “long-term immigrant communities” before he leaves.
“In addition to supporting strong border security, we are eager to ensure that DACA, TPS holders, and other immigrants who are critical members of our communities and economies are not forgotten during this busy time,” they said.
House Democrats, Reps. Ayanna Pressley (D-MA) and Jim Clyburn (D-SC) sent Biden a letter urging him to free thousands of convicted criminals from the country’s overpopulated prisons.
“Now is the time to use your clemency authority to rectify unjust and unnecessary criminal laws passed by Congress and draconian sentences given by judges,” they said. “The grant of pardons and commutations and the restoration of rights will undoubtedly send a powerful message across the country in support of fundamental fairness and furthering meaningful criminal justice reform.”
Since Biden’s pardon of his convicted felon son Hunter Biden, many are concerned that he would pardon other “allies” including his brother Jim Biden for his role in the Ukraine scheme and for those involved in using lawfare against Trump such as Jack Smith, Adam Schiff, Nancy Pelosi, Gen. Mark Milley, Liz Cheney and many others.
