American patriots proved once again that they’re the real backbone of our immigration enforcement efforts. When concerned citizens spotted an unusual flood of foreign nationals gathering outside a Pennsylvania DMV last Friday, they did exactly what every red-blooded American should do: they called for backup. The result? ICE agents swept in and arrested 13 illegal immigrants, including individuals from Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Turkmenistan, according to Fox News.

The scene outside the West Kittanning Driver’s Licensing Center turned into absolute chaos as multiple illegals abandoned their big rigs in the street and fled on foot when federal agents arrived. Armstrong County Sheriff Frank Pitzer described people “exiting their vehicles and abandoning them on the street” as ICE moved in. One witness even reported seeing “like 10 people” pile out of single truck cabs when officers opened the doors. This is the kind of lawless behavior that President Trump’s decisive enforcement policies are designed to stop cold.

Local hero Zach Scherer, a Butler-area firefighter who was present during the assassination attempt on President Trump last year, spotted the suspicious activity and immediately contacted DHS. “I reached out to local law enforcement as well as a call to DHS Pittsburgh to let them know,” Scherer said after filming the unusual gathering. His quick thinking and patriotic instincts helped trigger the successful operation that got dangerous illegals off our roads.

While one suspect may face additional charges for resisting arrest and assaulting an officer, the bigger story here is crystal clear: Trump’s immigration crackdown is working exactly as promised. ICE confirmed that “residents thanked ICE for investigating their concerns and responding to their calls.” This is what happens when we have real leadership in Washington that backs up our brave ICE agents and listens to the American people instead of coddling criminals.
