While meeting with residents and officials of Florida in the aftermath of Hurricane Ian, President Biden was caught on a hot mic with an R-rated exchange of words.
The President appeared to say “No one f—- with a Biden,” during a friendly conversation with Fort Meyers Beach Mayor Ray Murphy. Biden’s R-rated remarks came after he shook Murphy’s hand, thanking him and said “keep the faith.”
The conversation between the President and Murphy was mostly inaudible, but from what could be heard, it was Biden repeating words of wisdom from his years.
In response to Biden’s comment, the Mayor took off his sunglasses, began laughing and said “you’re goddamn right.”
Biden also added “and you can’t argue with your brothers outside the house.”
After the comment became public, The White House didn’t respond for a request for comment. Meanwhile, the entire point of his trip was to tour damage from the deadly hurricane last week, not cause unnecessary drama because he was alongside Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R).
The President has a history of hot mic moments, most recently when he called Peter Doocy of Fox News a “stupid son of a bitch” because he asked a question relating to inflation that didn’t go over well with the President. The President did call Doocy after this hot mic moment, which Doocy reported as a “nice call.”
