Former Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu returned to power this week after narrowly defeating his political opponents in a close election.

 

This will be his third term as Prime Minister.

“The state of Israel comes before any political consideration,” his rival said after the vote. “I wish Netanyahu success, for the sake of the people of Israel and the State of Israel.”

Netanyahu’s bloc will pick up 64 out of 120 seats in the Israeli parliament.
