Allison Gollust, the CNN executive who was having a relationship with the cable network’s president, Jeff Zucker, is now also leaving the company after an internal inquiry found she was in violation of news standards.

The Associated Press reports that CNN’s parent company WarnerMedia’s CEO Jason Kilar released a memo stating Gollust’s resignation Tuesday followed the conclusion of an investigation concerning ex-anchor Chris Cuomo and his brother, former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo.

“The investigation found violations of company policies, including CNN’s News Standards and Practices, by Jeff Zucker, Allison Gollust, and Chris Cuomo” Kilar’s statement read. Anchor Chris Cuomo was fired after New York Attorney General Letitia James released documents revealing he helped his brother navigate the media, playing a “behind-the-scenes” role in crafting a response to sexual harassment charges against his brother, then-Governor Andrew Cuomo.

Kilar’s memo said the investigation concluded last week and included interviews as well as a review of 100,000-plus texts and emails. It also stated the investigation was performed by a third-party law firm and led by a former federal judge.

“I realize this news is troubling, disappointing, and frankly, painful to read. These are valid feelings many of you have,” Kilar’s memo said. “We have the highest standards of journalistic integrity at CNN, and those rules must apply to everyone equally.”

Before joining CNN, Gollust was communications director for Governor Andrew Cuomo and reportedly helped the Cuomos in their defense. Zucker and Gollust were in a relationship, despite the fact that Gollust reported directly to Zucker. The two did not disclose their relationship.

“I acknowledged the relationship had evolved in recent years… I was required to disclose it when it began but I didn’t. I was wrong” Zucker wrote in a memo announcing his resignation, ending his tenure.
