President Biden snapped during a speaking event Friday afternoon when discussing inflation, saying he’s “sick” of Americans saying government spending results in higher prices for goods and services.
"I'm sick of this stuff ... the American people think the reason for inflation is government spending more money. Simply not true!"
The consumer price index rose by 7.9% in February compared to the same period last year, the biggest 12-month surge since January 1982.
