The Senate confirmed Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson to the United States Supreme Court Thursday.
The final tally was 53-47, with Republican Sens. Susan Collins of Maine, Lisa Murkowski of Alaska and Mitt Romney of Utah voting for President Biden’s nominee.
“Judge Jackson’s confirmation was a historic moment for our nation. We’ve taken another step toward making our highest court reflect the diversity of America. She will be an incredible Justice, and I was honored to share this moment with her,” posted Biden on Twitter shortly after the vote.

This is a developing story…
This is a great day for the country. KBJ is the most qualified justice appointed to the Supreme Court in the last 100 years. Her credentials are second to none… prove me wrong!
This is an addition to the dimbing down of America, but what are we to expect.
We have 435 of the dumbest people running our nation.
It a is a crying shame.
