The Democrats are getting a taste of their own medicine as Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif) announced on Tuesday that he has requested the House committees to open a “formal impeachment inquiry” into President Joe Biden’s conduct as it relates to his son Hunter and his numerous shady business dealings.
On Capitol Hill, Speaker McCarthy announced, “I am directing our House committees to open a formal impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden. Over the past several months, House Republicans have uncovered serious and credible allegations into President Biden’s conduct — a culture of corruption.”
“These are allegations of abuse of power, obstruction and corruption,” he said. “They warrant further investigation by the House of Representatives. That’s why today I am directing our House committee to open a formal impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden.”
The main stream media is already running defense for the Biden administration claiming that the GOP hasn’t proved that President Biden made any money from his son Hunter’s business affairs.
McCarthy explained, “This logical next step will give our committees the full power to gather all the facts and answers for the American public.”
Speaker McCarthy designated House Oversight Committee chairman James Comer, House Judiciary Committee chairman Jim Jordan and House Ways and Means Committee chairman Jason Smith to lead the inquiry hearings
“I do not make this decision lightly,” McCarthy added. “Regardless of your party, or who you voted for, these facts concern all Americans.”
