Russia’s Parliament member Oleg Matveychev is making demands of the United States as its war against Ukraine also wages on. Matveychev, who often speaks on behalf of Russia’s highest officials, is demanding reparations from the United States, as well as a “return of historic settlements in Alaska and California.”

The statement was made on Sunday when he appeared on Russian state news. The message was given as what will occur “after Ukraine’s demilitarization is completed.” The notion comes from Alaska and Fort Ross in California having been part of the Russian empire in the 18th and 19th centuries. They were then sold to the United States.

Moscow’s Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov announced their own sanctions; against 11 Americans including President Joe Biden, his son Hunter Biden and White House press secretary Jen Psaki.

In addition to Biden, Russia’s sanctions list includes US officials Secretary of State Antony Blinken, Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin, Joint Chiefs of Staff Chair Mark Milley, Deputy Treasury Secretary Wally and former Secretary of State Antony Blinken.

When asked about the idea of using nuclear weapons for victory, Matveychev \confidently responded: “What for? We can take them down without it.”

The Russian TV host had his two Italian villas seized due to the sanctions, therefore aggressively called for executions or even nuclear strikes for “those who took our money.” He said, “I still think that those who took our money should be told, you have 24 hours to unfreeze our funds, or else we’ll send you what you know we’ve got.”
