Abby Broyles, a Democratic candidate for Oklahoma’s House of Representatives apparently got in a drunken fight, slurring curse words…at 12 and 13-year-olds. The incident allegedly took place during the young girls’ Valentine’s Day slumber party.
Broyles repeatedly swore at the girls and vomited on a pair of shoes after becoming intoxicated, according to several reports, writes the Daily Caller News Foundation. She is running in Oklahoma’s Fifth District against Republican Representative Stephanie Bice.
Broyles vomited in a laundry basket and onto one of the girl’s shoes. The vicious words hurled towards the children included calling one girl an “acne f*cker”, one girl a “judgy f*cker” and two girls “Hispanic f*ckers.”
Broyles told NonDoc the allegations were just a “political attack” and that she did not even attend the slumber party. “I have been out of town on a fundraising rip, and they are awful and offensive and false,” said Broyles of the accusations.
“I mean, I get trolled on Twitter all the time, but. I don’t know these women and I don’t know what is behind this, but it’s just not true.” She added, “I’m just telling you it’s not true, and if I were a journalist I would not be doing a story because it’s not a story,” she said.
A mother of one of the girls in attendance mentioned the matter on Twitter, writing “@abbybroyles Since it’s been five days and you have neglected to reach out to any of the young ladies (12 & 13 yr olds, including my daughter) you verbally and emotionally abused last weekend I thought I would give you a chance to try to apologize (at a minimum) here. 1/4”
Matthews’ message to Broyles came in four tweets. The second read, “for someone who pontificates to be undyingly pro-woman, I am disgusted by your behavior and find it appalling you couldn’t understand why their parents are angry. Your vile, cruel, and bigoted behavior should not be excused or ‘swept under the rug’. 2/4”
“Not only did you scare and traumatize these beautiful girls with your words, you ruined a pair of their shoes with your vomit! (Which she saved up to buy with her own money!) Considering how much you bragged about how ‘rich and successful’ you are to these children, ¾”
“Surely you can afford to replace her shoes!” the final tweet read.
