‘Squad’ Democrats like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Cori Bush, Ilhan Omar, and Rashida Tlaib spent thousands of dollars on private security last year despite demanding the nation “defund police,” according to paperwork filed with the federal government.

In total, AOC dished-out $75,000; Bush $200,000; Omar $30,000; and Tlaib $3,000.

“Defunding the police has to happen,” said Bush.

“Defunding police means defunding police,” Ocasio-Cortez claimed after the death of George Floyd.

 

“Yes, I support the defunding of the police. If we reinvest in jobs there won’t be a need for as large of a police force as we have and there won’t be a need for the militarization of the police. The whole country is rising up because we’re tired of waiting,” said Jamaal Bowman in June 2020.
