Well Joe is at it again, claiming Republicans wanted to defund the police.  Is he serious? President Biden again is just making things up and the main stream media is yet to call out just how many lies he has told the American people.

In recent remarks from the President talking to survivors of a mass shooting in Monterrey Park in January, he said, “Last week, I laid out in my budget that we invest more in safer communities and invest in mental health services for those affected by gun violence. Congressional Republicans should pass my budget instead of calling for cuts in these services or abolishing the police or defunding the FBI.”  Biden insisted it was Republicans that were responsible for defunding the police when it was Democrats and their woke agenda that basically declared open war on law enforcement with massive consequences, disproportionately affected those in large Democrat-run cities.

Not only did he claim Republicans were responsible in his recent speech, he also doubled down on his lie writing on Twitter, “Some MAGA Republicans in Congress have called for defunding the police, abolishing the FBI, and cutting mental health services. Meanwhile, my budget invests in safer communities and access to mental health care. Like I always say: a budget is a statement of values.”

His speech also took aim at the Second Amendment, highlighting the many executive orders he signed in his attempt to bypass Congress. “First, this executive order helps keep firearms out of dangerous hands, as I continue to call on Congress to require background checks for all firearm sales,” he said. “And in the meantime — in the meantime, my executive order directs my attorney general to take every lawful action possible — possible to move us as close as we can to universal background checks without new legislation.”

Biden also commented on red flag laws for more gun control explaining, “The executive order also expands public awareness campaigns about the ‘red flag’ orders — the laws — which my son, when he — before he died — Attorney General of Delaware — was a great proponent of it and instituted it. So more parents, teachers, police officers, health providers, and counselors know how to flag for the — a court that someone is exhibiting violent tendencies, threatening classmates, or experiencing suicidal thoughts that make them a danger to themselves and others and temporarily remove that person’s access to firearms.”

In order to appease his left wing base, Biden began to talk about assault weapons and the need to disarm those who obey the law.

“And I’m determined, once again, to ban assault weapons and high-capacity magazines!” he said.

“I led that fight to ban them in 1994. The 10 years that law was in place, mass shootings, went down,” Biden said, of course blaming the Republicans for letting the ban expire, in which case both parties were equally responsible for the expiration.

According to a senior administration official, “He is directing the attorney general to move as close as we can to universal background checks without additional legislation.”

And in classic Biden style, he couldn’t leave the speech without a trademark gaffe saying, “I got here on Air Force One. I’m watching and you got Western Oregon deciding they’re going to secede and become part of Idaho. What in the hell is going on?” What in the hell is going on is right.
