Since President Biden took office two and a half years ago, the number of illegal immigrants that have crossed the southern border into the United States has far surpassed 6 million and we’ve seen a dramatic spike in thousands of deaths due to record fentanyl smuggling levels.  These two statistics basically show the southern border is completely open and in chaos.

When will Americans wake up and see just how bad the border is? What about if armed men with guns and full tactical body armor cross the border?

New images have been released that showed suspected cartel members crossing the southern border in heavy body armor and armed with rifles. Fox News obtained the photos and reported that law enforcement sources at the border saw the men cross and hide in the brush.

According to Fox News,“Border Patrol agents, including the agency’s BORTAC tactical unit, were deployed to the area but found nothing. It is the same area where law enforcement arrested five suspected members of the Northeast Cartel in June.”

According to reports from the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS), they have also reported similar activity seen by drone operators in the Eagle Pass sector.  DPS drone operators spotted armed smugglers entering Eagle Pass with a large group of illegal immigrants trying to cross the Rio Grande river.  When DPS made contact with the group, the armed smuggler was able to retreat into Mexico, continuing his human trafficking business.

Reports from Fox News correspondent Bill Melugin detailed a group of smugglers captured in the Eagle Pass sector which he described as “a heavy cartel area with significant drug smuggling.”

“Border Patrol sources tell me armed gunmen are frequently encountered there. This was another group of suspected cartel gunmen who were arrested there in June,” he said in a tweet.

In response to reports, Fox News correspondent Trey Yingst summed up the entire situation plainly in a tweet which read  “Wow. Gunmen caught on camera crossing into the United States. If cartel members can do it, so can terrorist groups, gangs, etc. Huge difference between legitimate humanitarian claims for asylum and armed drug smugglers.”

The U.S. Border Patrol is under siege and continues to arrest many dangerous criminals entering the country.  The cartels have complete operational control of the border and the Biden administration is standing back letting it all happen.
