Russian President Vladimir Putin released a scathing video on Twitter Friday after Russian forces began their campaign to capture the capital of Ukraine; calling his enemies “drug-addicted neo-Nazis” who use “families as human shields.”

“Ukrainian soldiers, take power into your own hands and not to let drug addicts and neo nationalists use your families as human shields. It’s easier for us to come to an agreement with you than with a band of drug addicted and neo-Nazis,” claimed the leader of Russia.
Ukrainian officials believe 1,000 Russian soldiers have been killed since the invasion began early Thursday morning.
