Florida Governor Ron DeSantis declared the death of ‘COVID Theater’ on social media this week after footage of the Republican instructing students to remove their face-masks went viral on Twitter.

“You do not have to wear those masks. Please, take them off,” DeSantis told the students.

“Honestly, it’s not doing anything. We have to stop with this COVID theater. If you want to wear it, it’s fine. But this is ridiculous,” he added.

“The political science show cannot go on. It’s curtain call for COVID theater,” explained the Governor on Twitter after the incident.
