   Gun ownership is a right appointed by the constitution. It is not a god-given right, and I am tired of hearing people say this. If it is god-given, then it would say so in the bible. Or the koran, or the bhagavad gita, or whatever religious text you choose. Yet, the right to own a gun is in NONE of these.

   You go on to say that you would not support removing guns from a person’s possession due to a red flag law, but you would support LOCKING UP that person. You are willing to take away ALL RIGHTS to preserve your idealized version of the second amendment. This is insanity! You don’t want your neighbor to be able to report you and have your guns taken away, I get that. But that’s NOT how these laws work! Do your research, Joe! Because once again, you are selling FEAR and DIVISION instead of telling the truth. It’s not “some guy” deciding to take all your guns away because someone tattled on you. That is a gross LIE; you are LYING, Joe.

   The bottom line is red flag laws do work to prevent violence, if they are implemented. All indications are that if the red flag law was exercised in the Buffalo shooting, that person would not have had legal access to a firearm and people’s lives would have been saved.
