Sheriff David Clark stopped by The Joe Pags Show Wednesday to weigh-in on the nation’s growing crime wave, listing common-sense reforms that will help protect the American people this summer.
“Crime is out of control in this country. What would you do if you had your finger on the button?” asked Pags.
“You have to stand strong and you have to push back,” said Clark. “People are the first line of their own defense. Be prepared. We agreed as a society to let the state handle it. That worked for a while but it’s falling apart.”
“The best thing that people can do is defend themselves if they have to,” he explained. “Take some training, take some classes. People are sensing that it’s up to them. Seconds matter and the cops are minutes away.”

Those officers that waited to take the shooter out should ALL be tried for accessory to murder. Period! I would like to know WHO would have found problems with those officers going in and saving those children and teachers, overriding the orders of the idiot in charge! I guess if the public needs to take matters into their own hands, then so be it.

Crime rates have been dropping almost consistently for the past 30 YEARS. Robbery? Down. Assault? Down. Murder? Despite a recent surge, is down! Most crime is property crime, and even that is down!! So stop lying to people, Joe. I get it, you do this for ratings. But have a conscience, man. Your statement, that crime is out of control in this country, is FAKE NEWS. It is a right-wing narrative to make people scared. Do better!
