“You’ll throw yourself into a story. You’ll talk to cartel members,” began Joe Pags. “We’re now letting anybody in. It’s confusing. If people sign up for asylum, are they counted as an illegal entry?”
“It depends on who you’re hearing it from. CBP is going to count the total encounter numbers,” explained Bradley.
“The media focuses on the illegal entries, you’re not going to hear about the people that are crossing at the ports-of-entry,” she added.
