Ivory Hecker called out her TV station and ownership live on the air. That was three years ago. Today, she’s teaching others how to do the job of journalism right.

“I dared them to fire me on air because my contract did not allow me to quit,” began Hecker.

“People think that I just snapped, but I had to make a pre-meditated decision,” she explained. “I decided to leave because of the control that happened within Fox at the beginning of the pandemic.”

“We had some great people at Fox. But I decided to get out. My best option was to do it on air given the constraints of the contract. I prayed to God for a fluffy story to call out the corruption,” added Ivory.
